Our Direction and Goals

Executive Director – Deborah Sullivan

It is my pleasure and honor to be of service for Community Living Greater Sudbury/Integration Communautaire Grand Sudbury. The years that I have been affiliated with CLGS/ICGS have been exciting and promising. During the past years, we have revised our strategic plan to better represent the needs of agency and people involved. The feedback and support has been greatly appreciated and we look forward to creating plans of action that will move us forward toward stronger and continued improved standard of care and service.

CLGS/ICGS plans to become accredited in the near future. Accreditation is a process where an external body of professionals visit and review agency policies, practices, services and meets with stakeholders, employees and Board members. A few of the benefits regarding accreditation are as follows:

- Greater emphasis on quality improvement
- A culture of learning
- Greater focus on how to improve services for people
- Tools that assist agency operations
- Validation of efforts from an external body and recommendations
- Public recognition of the agency efforts
- Risk Management /Accountability
- Interest in services and feelings of security for stakeholders
